Seeing that I am always finding new scholarships and whatnot, I decided that this essay will be full of scholarship stuff. 1) Unigo1) Unigo.com is a great site that connects you to colleges and helps prepare you for those big, nasty tests. (Yes, I'm looking at you, ACT and SAT.) But most of all: they have a freaking TON of scholarships readily available for your looking. Just sign up for a free account (it's completely safe, trust me, I use it) and apply away! www.unigo.com Their personal list of scholarships: https://www.unigo.com/scholarships/our-scholarships 2) Cappex2) Cappex.com is like Unigo: college connections, scholarships, etc. However, when looking at colleges on Cappex, you may find the Fit Meter: Cappex computes how well the college fits your specified preferences. You need a (free) account (again, Zebra tested, all safe) and get to work! https://www.cappex.com/scholarships/ 3) Scholarship Points3) ScholarshipPoints.com, despite all of its shares, is the site that I like the least. Mainly because it takes FOREVER to collect points. However, it consistently have at least 2 scholarship drawings year-round. Try your luck at: https://www.scholarshippoints.com/free-college-scholarships/ 4) My Family Travels4) Do you travel and write? Perfect! Requirements for this scholarship include: ages 13-18, grades 8-12, a wallet-sized photo of yourself, and… a travel blog! The blog should be no more than 600 words, very descriptive, and never published. IMPORTANT: the trip must have occurred in the last five years. EVERYONE IS ENCOURAGED TO TRY! Complete details and application form are located here: http://myfamilytravels.com/node/67 5) College Peas5) Lastly, I have recently discovered College Peas.com. Anyone familiar with it? I didn’t look too deeply, however I did apply to their $400 scholarship: http://www.collegepeas.com/scholarshipgreen/ That's it for now! Over and out,
